Camera Above The Clouds Volume 3 (1992) By Charles E. Brown
Charles E. Brown is recognised as a master in aviation photography. He specialised in photographing above the cloudscape and would spend many hours looking for the right moment. The quality of his work is well presented in these three volumes.
Volume 3: The colour collection
All of the photos in this volume are in colour. Due to the rarity of colour film during the war, most of the images in this volume are post-war. Many were taken at Farnborough air displays and provide a record of both prototype and production aircraft.
Any of these three volumes will appeal to aviation photographers, but volume 3 will be of special interest to anybody interested in the history of aviation due to the excellent photographs of the many prototype aircraft seen after the war.
