Additional perspectives are gained from official war historian Charles Bean, journalist Keith Murdoch, commanding officer at Gallipoli Lt, General Sir William Birdwood a and Prime Minister William Hughes. ANZAC conveys not only the horrors of war and the hardships experienced by the Anzacs but also the dignity, bravery, valour and humanity they came to embody.
